From your first viewing to move-in day
Here are some insights to help you prepare for a satisfying experience buying your next home.
1. Arranging Financing
In today’s market, it is crucial to get a mortgage pre-approval as your first step in the buying process. You will want to know what you can afford, and it helps us have a clear picture as to which properties to show you.
It also helps in the offer and negotiation stage, it shows the seller that you are prepared and ready to move forward, should your offer be accepted. It can make all the difference in a multiple offer situation.
This process can be handled quite quickly and can be done with a mortgage broker, or your bank. We have fantastic recommendations to some top notch mortgage specialists, so if you are at this stage please let us know.
Once we have a clear picture of what you are looking for in terms of price, area, style of home and any special requests, we will start the hunt for you. We will monitor the local market for you daily.
We also set you up on an automatic, customized MLS search so all matching properties will be sent to your email the day they hit the market. You won’t be missing out on any opportunities. You let us know which ones you like and we will set up the rest.
We will also notify you of any open houses available to attend, on a regular basis.
In today’s market, you’ll need to move quickly on properties you see valuable. In order to beat the competition we need to be proactive in the search.
Once you find the right listing and you are wanting to move forward with making an offer to purchase, we sit down with you to review the details. We will have the inside scoop as to how many other offers may be placed on the listing, so that we can skillfully advise you on what a winning offer would look like for this property.
Depending on what conditions you need to put in your offer, our team has a successful track record of getting the job done for our clients. We will skillfully negotiate on your behalf the entire way through. You’ll be in good hands.
